Bookkeeping

Bookkeeping in one ledger, without waiting for month end

Every invoice you issue, expense you enter and bank line you import in Müşavir is written to the same double-entry ledger. Customer balances, the VAT report, trial balance, balance sheet and income statement come straight from those records, so your accountant receives clean data instead of scattered files.

Why bookkeeping jams at month end

  • Invoices live in one place, expenses in a spreadsheet, bank movements in a PDF statement, and nothing links them.
  • Which payment closed which invoice is worked out at month end by reading the statement line by line.
  • Fees collected on a client's behalf look like revenue, inflating profit and the VAT figure.
  • Your accountant asks the same questions every month: missing invoices, unexplained payments, balances that do not agree.

Every transaction arrives with its journal entry

Invoices, payments, expenses and bank lines are posted as debits and credits to the right accounts in the Turkish uniform chart of accounts the moment they are entered. Reports read from that ledger, not a separate file; your accountant keeps the statutory books and files returns in their own software, using the clean data you prepared.

  • Sales invoices, partial payments and line-level VAT
  • Expenses and recurring expenses, supplier balances
  • Statement import from six banks with rule-based matching
  • Trial balance, VAT report, balance sheet and income statement from the same records

How it works

  1. 1

Set up the chart of accounts

The uniform chart of accounts comes ready. Add your cash, bank and credit card accounts and enter opening balances.

  2. 2

    Enter invoices and expenses

Issue a sales invoice line by line with its VAT rate; e-invoices and e-archive invoices go out straight from the panel: through our built-in Turkcell e-Dönüşüm connection or through your own integrator. Record incoming invoices and receipts as expenses.

  3. 3

    Import the statement

Import the bank statement. Matching rules link receipts to invoices and payments to expenses, and you confirm the rest on one screen.

  4. 4

    Share the reports

At period end the trial balance, VAT report and account list are ready. Export them and send them to your accountant.

Everything your bookkeeping needs

Double-entry ledger

Every invoice, payment and expense creates a journal entry, and debits always equal credits. Manual journal entries are supported too.

Sales invoices

Line-level VAT rate (1%, 10%, 20%), partial payments and due date tracking. E-invoices and e-archive invoices are issued from the panel (built-in Turkcell e-Dönüşüm or your own integrator); incoming e-invoices arrive automatically.

Bank statement matching

Import statements from Akbank, Denizbank, Fibabank, Garanti, Kuveyt Türk and Ziraat; write rules on description and amount so recurring lines match themselves.

Funds held for clients

Amounts such as government fees you collect for a client and pay to an authority are tracked in a transit account; they are neither revenue nor expense.

Customer and supplier accounts

Balances and statements for any date you pick. Balance confirmations are prepared from these figures.

Reports

Trial balance, VAT report (output and input VAT), balance sheet, income statement, FIFO stock and data quality checks that point to missing records.

Where the AI helps

Less typing with the bookkeeping assistant

The bookkeeping assistant reads documents, suggests entries and shows what does not add up. You approve each entry, and record changes inside the panel can be undone.

  • Reads an incoming invoice or receipt and drafts the expense with supplier, amount and VAT filled in.
  • Suggests the likely invoice or expense for unmatched bank lines.
  • Answers questions like "Which invoices are more than 15 days overdue?" and shows the records behind the answer.
  • Lists missing documents and accounts that do not reconcile before month end.

Frequently asked questions

Does Müşavir replace my accountant?

No. Müşavir is a bookkeeping tool used by businesses and their accountants. Keeping the statutory books and filing returns remains your certified accountant's job; you send them organised, matched and reported data.

Can I issue e-invoices and e-archive invoices?

Yes, straight from the panel. There are two routes: use Müşavir's built-in Turkcell e-Dönüşüm connection, or connect the integrator you already work with. The invoice is transmitted to the Revenue Administration (GİB), incoming e-invoices are pulled in automatically, and it is posted to your ledger at the same time.

Which banks' statements can I import?

Statements from Akbank, Denizbank, Fibabank, Garanti, Kuveyt Türk and Ziraat are read directly. The matching rules you define are applied automatically to later statements.

Are fees I pay on a client's behalf counted as revenue?

No. Government fees and similar amounts collected in trust sit in a transit account and close when you pay the authority. They stay out of your income statement and VAT figures.

How does my accountant get the data?

Export the trial balance, VAT report and account lists and send them, or add your accountant as a user with limited permissions. You decide which modules they can see.
