Bookkeepers
No more days lost matching bank lines
The heavy part of bookkeeping is redoing the same work every month: download the statement, tie each line to an invoice, get the account balances right, check VAT. In Müşavir the statement is imported, rules match the movements you already know, and you deal only with the exceptions.
Get started| Description | Amount | Match |
|---|---|---|
| Rent September | -35,000 TL | rule |
| Atakan Gıda transfer | 48,000 TL | invoice |
| POS commission | -412 TL | rule |
| EFT, no description | 12,500 TL | waiting |
39 lines matched, 3 waiting for review (example)
Why the bookkeeper's month always gets squeezed
- Each bank's statement comes in a different format that needs cleaning before it can be used.
- Rent, salaries and subscriptions recur every month and are matched by hand every month.
- Transfers with vague descriptions mean asking sales which invoice they belong to.
- Reconciliation and the VAT check land in the same week, and one of them slips.
From statement to journal, with rules
Statements from Akbank, Denizbank, Fibabank, Garanti, Kuveyt Türk and Ziraat are imported. Matching rules use the description, amount and counterparty to tie a line to a customer, supplier, invoice or expense account. Every matched line posts a double-entry record.
- Statement import for six banks
- Your own matching rules; define once, run every month
- Partial payments and one transfer split across several invoices
- Money held for others (such as fees) kept in a transit account, not booked as revenue
A bookkeeper's month with Müşavir
- Every Monday
- Imports the week's bank statements; rules match rent, salary and subscription lines on their own.
- Every Monday
- Reviews unmatched lines and writes a rule for any new recurring movement.
- Day 5
- Checks that recurring expenses were created and records supplier invoices as expenses.
- Day 10
- Lists overdue sales invoices; email and SMS reminders have already gone out, and unanswered ones become tasks for sales.
- Day 20
- Runs the VAT preview report and checks output and input VAT by rate.
- Quarter end
- Sends current-account confirmations in bulk and resolves disputes against the other side's statement.
- Month end
- Clears the data quality checks and sends the trial balance to the accountant.
Before and after
| With statements and spreadsheets | With Müşavir |
|---|---|
| Download the statement, fix the columns, then process it. | Statements from six banks import directly. |
| The same rent payment is matched by hand every month. | A rule written once runs every month. |
| After matching a payment, the account balance is updated separately. | A match updates the journal and the account balance together. |
| Invoices are copied into a spreadsheet to check VAT. | The VAT report builds itself from line-level VAT. |
| Confirmation letters are emailed one by one. | Bulk reconciliation, approval links and automatic reminders. |
| The list of gaps is drawn up at month end. | Data quality checks are current every day. |
Where the AI helps
A bookkeeping assistant at your side
The assistant reads statements and invoices, suggests matches and drafts rules. Nothing is posted without your approval.
- "Suggest matches for this week's unmatched lines."
- "Write a matching rule for payments to this supplier."
- "Read this PDF invoice and record it as an expense."
- "Which items in this month's VAT preview changed from last month?"
Frequently asked questions
Which banks' statements can be imported?
Akbank, Denizbank, Fibabank, Garanti, Kuveyt Türk and Ziraat. Uploading the same statement twice does not duplicate lines.
How do I write a matching rule?
Choose conditions such as a phrase in the description, an amount range or the counterparty, then pick the customer, supplier or expense account the line should go to. The rule runs on later statements by itself.
Can I issue e-invoices and e-archive invoices?
You prepare the sales invoice in Müşavir; it goes out from the panel as an e-invoice or e-archive invoice, through built-in Turkcell e-Dönüşüm or your own integrator, and incoming e-invoices arrive on their own.
Does Müşavir file the VAT return?
No. Müşavir prepares the VAT preview report; the return is filed through your accountant or your own official process.
