Keep your storefront; let Müşavir run the back office

The visible side of selling online is the storefront and shipping; the hidden side is supplier invoices, stock cost, returns, VAT and customer messages. Müşavir does not replace or compete with your storefront. Whatever your sales channel, it brings purchasing, stock, expenses, VAT and customer conversations in the back office into one set of books.

Where the back office gets tangled when you sell online

  • Supplier invoices pile up in email, and product cost is worked out by hand in spreadsheets.
  • Stock cost is an average guess, so profit is unclear even at month end.
  • Returns and exchanges live in a separate list and reach the books late and incomplete.
  • Order questions from WhatsApp and Instagram are answered on personal phones.

The Müşavir flow in an e-commerce back office

  1. 01

    Supplier purchases

Supplier invoices post as expenses and stock receipts; the AI reads the invoice PDF and suggests the lines for you to approve.

  2. 02

    FIFO stock cost

Each product's movements follow first in, first out, so cost of goods sold and remaining stock value stay current.

  3. 03

    Customer messages in one list

WhatsApp, Instagram and email conversations sit in the inbox, with the customer card open beside the conversation.

  4. 04

    Returns and exchanges

A return request lands on the customer record as a note and a task; once the return invoice is posted, stock and VAT records are corrected.

  5. 05

    VAT and period reports

The monthly VAT report, trial balance and income statement are built from records with line-level VAT rates; your accountant gets ready data.

  6. 06

    Supplier reconciliation

At period end, balance confirmations go to suppliers by link; disputes arrive with their statement.

Worked example

Example: an online shop with 8 suppliers and 1,500 orders a month

In this example the shop sells home textiles, buys from 8 suppliers and ships about 1,500 orders a month. A towel set came in at 180 TL in September and 205 TL in October; with FIFO the first 300 sets sold in October are costed at 180 TL. About 60 returns a month are posted and the stock is taken back. At month end the VAT report and all 8 supplier reconciliations are ready the same day. Figures are illustrative.

The pieces an online-selling back office needs

Bank statement matching

Import the bank statement and let matching rules link receipts and payments to the right records.

Data quality checks

Missing VAT rates, invoices without an account or unmatched bank lines come to you as a list.

Foreign-currency purchases

USD or EUR purchases from suppliers abroad, with TL equivalent and exchange difference on record.

Recurring expenses

Warehouse rent, software subscriptions and courier contracts post as expenses on their own every month.

Where the AI helps

The bookkeeping assistant

The assistant reads invoices and receipts and gets stock and VAT records ready.

  • Reads a supplier invoice, matches product lines to stock items and proposes the entry.
  • Answers "Which product's margin fell most this month?" from stock cost.
  • Drafts replies to common order questions; they are sent after you approve.

Frequently asked questions

Does it integrate with my marketplace or shop platform?

Müşavir is not a storefront or marketplace tool and does not offer direct order integration with them. Sales receipts come from the bank statement and purchases from supplier invoices; the back office records live here.

Is there a stock method other than FIFO?

Stock cost is calculated with FIFO (first in, first out). Each receipt is tracked as its own cost layer.

Can I issue sales invoices here?

The sales invoice is prepared and recorded in Müşavir; it is issued as an e-invoice or e-archive invoice from the panel, through our built-in Turkcell e-Dönüşüm connection or your own integrator.

How does my accountant use these records?

Give your accountant a user account or export the trial balance, VAT report and account lists. Because entries are double-entry, month-end preparation is shorter.
